FAQ
Common questions
What is PE endorsement and when is it required in Singapore?
PE endorsement is the formal certification by a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), confirming that structural or engineering works comply with the Building Control Act and the requirements of authorities such as BCA, HDB, SCDF or LTA. It is typically required before hacking structural walls, erecting temporary works, submitting building plans to BCA, or carrying out A&A works — subject to authority requirements and site conditions. See our PE endorsement guide.
How much do PE endorsement services cost?
Fees depend on scope and complexity. As an indication: HDB wall assessments from S$500, load-bearing wall PE endorsement from S$800, temporary works from S$700, and BCA A&A structural submissions from S$1,200. We provide a fixed-fee quotation within one working day after reviewing your scope — no hidden charges.
How fast can you respond?
WhatsApp enquiries are usually answered the same day. Simple HDB wall endorsements typically take 2–5 working days; temporary works 3–7 working days; BCA submissions 1–3 weeks, subject to authority review times.
Do you serve both homeowners and commercial clients?
Yes. We work with HDB, condo and landed homeowners as well as developers, MCSTs, contractors, factories, warehouses and commercial building owners. The engineering rigour is the same; the deliverables are tailored to what your approving authority or management requires.
Who will endorse my drawings?
All endorsements are carried out personally by our PEB-registered engineers — Er. David Zheng Zhijian (PE Civil, Reg. No. 4385) for civil and structural works, and Er. Lu Min Thet (PE Mechanical, Reg. No. 4379) for mechanical works. The endorsing engineer's registration details appear on every stamped document.
